Description: Hello, friends. My name’s Buddy and I’ve got a sad story to tell you. 💔 I’m hoping the right person will see this and can turn the ending of my story into a happily ever after. I’m an 11 year old lurcher (greyhound mix). For most of my life, I had a job as a stud muffin. I did my job and was a good boy, but I always wondered what it would be like to have a cozy couch to call my own. Well, last year I got my wish! I retired to Colorado and a kind woman took me in, gave me a soft bed, warm meals, and belly rubs just because. She called me her good boy, and I thought I’d spend the rest of my days by her side. But life had other plans. My mom passed away suddenly, and just like that, my dream was gone. I didn’t just lose my home—I lost my person who I loved and who loved me. So now I’m looking for another chance for that forever couch. I am a sweet and goofy boy and I still have lots of life and love left in me! I love to run, I’m good with older kids and other dogs and my ideal home would be with my people home a lot during the day. I just love to spend time with people!
